Greetings!

This is my fifth year in school leadership and my seventeenth year in education. Before coming to Carver, I served as an Assistant Principal at Patriot Elementary and also taught and worked in schools in Colorado and San Antonio, Texas. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Colorado State University–Pueblo. Prior to becoming an educator, I proudly served 10 years in the U.S. Army.

My Education

This is my fifth year in educational leadership and my fourteenth year in education. Prior to coming to Carver Elementary, I was the Assistant Principal at Patriot Elementary. I have also spent time at Fountain Middle School, Mountainside Elementary, and two elementary schools in San Antonio, Texas. My educational background includes a MA from the University of Texas San Antonio in Educational Leadership and a BS from the Colorado State University-Pueblo in Elementary Education. Prior to the education field, I spent 10 years active duty in the Army, and we lived in Germany (Wiesbaden and Heidelberg), Colorado Springs, and San Antonio, Texas. We are on our 17th year here in Colorado.

At Home

My husband, Jeramy, and I have been married since 1998. He retired after 21 years of Army service, and together we’ve made Colorado our home for the past 19 years. We have three amazing children—Tyler, who lives in Durango; Sam, a senior in college; and Megan, a sophomore in college. As a family, we love spending time outdoors hiking, camping, snowboarding, as well as traveling whenever we can.
